So the woman who bought my Buick owned the car for literally 6 hours and had it in perfect running order within that time. Replaced the ignition coil packs and the airflow sensor (that I bought new on Amazon smh) and she says it works perfect. Oh well. I'm happy for her, and if my Buick hadn't been a total pos for me, I probably wouldn't have gotten my CVPI.

the steering wheel almost made me gag

It's sad that something like that can never happen again because safety regulations

Lean on it too hard and you might snap it

I'm doing something a little special for the local car show saturday

Just got my first fender bender.
Ofc it had to be with a jaguar so my insurance rate goes up from 80 dollars a month to literally 150 a month.

my cousin has upgraded from '83 aries wagon to an '84 scottsdale

And what an upgrade it was

First time I ever drove legally by myself with a license, I was literally just driving a 5 mile round trip and was almost in an accident with a police car.

I'm now enduring that feeling when your best friend gets his first car and he's wildly excited about it even though it's nothing special whatsoever.

After I helped him get his license test out of the way, his parents pulled a loan and he bought a 2010 Cobalt...4 doors....automatic....but wait it has power windows. Of course, he's now flooding every existing method of popular social media and my phone with pictures of his car. He bought an $800 set of Falkens for it and he's now prospectively looking for ways to mod the car. I'm just sitting back trying to be encouraging but he looks kinda silly.

Just the other day, he was begging me all day to ride with him in his car. Seeing as he's so excited and just got his car and has had his license for not even two weeks, I was skeptical but finally told him he could drive me across the street and back. I mean, it's a nice small fuel efficient car. Pretty comfortable too, but that's comparing to my extremely conservative no-extra-comfort-added police car. But during that short drive, I felt bad when he told me that he put the pedal to the floor and I didn't even notice.

u say this like its a bad thing

my rule works like this

25ish years or older for sub-4k - cheap due to depreciation and obsolecence. may or may not need fixing
25 to 10 years old for sub-4k - you're buying something that needs some if not lots of work
buy any car for sub-2k and chances are you've purchased a piece of junk that needs work no matter what

lmao i have a friend who was like that for the longest time. he bought a super-low-mileage red '08 cobalt coupe with the 2.4l engine at a stealership-- for the same amount i got my 330ci. it was all over social media for a month, and he thought it was the coolest car in our small town.

but damn your friend spent $800 on tires for a n/a cobalt? my pilot super sports are superb at only ~$630...

I can get a set of direzza ZIIs for $500
14 inch lyfe

my friend recently got a boring car aswell
He bought a 2006 impala and is getting rid of '03 grand marquis.
He has like an hour and half commute though so I don't blame him.

I just can't do normal cars tho.

speaking of which, this pos is in Holland, I called the guy and he said hes not sure if he'll actually sell it right now but if he did he'd give it to me for 600

these things are so rare that even if I just went to look at it and didn't buy it it would be cool, there are NONE of these left, if I went to look at it, it'd probably be the first and last one I'd ever see

holy back window batman

the guy was also selling a 1988 camry wagon just like mine that had 96k miles but it was automatic, and sadly so is the corolla
