I would much rather delegate the trailer to someone else than do it myself.  I offered to pay eksi to do it, but I don't know if that's going to happen because he's kind of weird about it.  

One thing I had thought of is to do a community trailer in a "channel flips" style - where everyone contributes a 5 second or less video and just paste them all together with a half second of static between them.

If there was ever to be a collab for a video, standards should be set, like it has to be a certain resolution (1280x720 or 1920x1080), has to have a good frame rate and quality, the hud can't be shown unless necessary and you have to be able to run the game's settings on High or Max

And it can only use default stuff unless there's a portion that shows off community made add-ons

• I've got the "transfer your current BLID to steam" feature almost working, but I've encountered what I'm almost sure is a bug in the steam web API.

So if we transfer our BLID to Steam, will we still be able to use it without Steam?

An idea on the community trailer thing
We all make a list of features we would like to show off in the trailer, and everyone picks a part or two and makes their segment on that feature. I just came up with this as an idea to stay organized on this. Also I agree that standards should be set, because if one part looks nice and other parts were recorded with a potato it just wouldnt look right.

Just my opinion on this.

it should be kinda like a blockhead switching channels on a tv, and like one channel is a blockland parody of a song but the next channel is some part of a funny reality show recreated in blockland, etc

Would probably a good idea to have it out right before the winter sale.
