workshop is more then a bad idea - people will upload research, and effortless crap
it isnt even moderated

So? The Gmod Workshop has to put up will all of that AND a bunch of ugly MLP or TF2  OCs, and yet the good content tends to outshine all of the garbage that gets uploaded

Especially since the workshops start out on 'Most Popular' by default

i dont want workshop because i don't want to have to use steam to check if there's an add-on there that's not anywhere else. rtb is fine, and it's made specifically for blockland.

if you have it, youll have the option to use it on steam. no payment afaik
