something is going on. i opened up blockland and it took longer to "write files" while in the launcher. but i can authenticate perfectly fine. also no update message or anything so don't get your hopes up

i can also see the servers so i can confirm the master servers are (back) up

Workshop is impossible as add-ons in blockland have too much power. Do you think the right way to find crap-ons is by having new people run them and delete all their files or worse?

It'll work just like any other game with extensive modding support. Malicious mods will be downvoted, and won't appear anywhere unless they're searched for; where presumably there would be negative comments about it's malicious purpose. To anyone who would download an add-on with a bad rating and doesn't read the comments, that's sorta your own issue. Modding your game isn't usually considered such a light matter, it's kinda something we take for granted here where everything is moderated.
