Filipe is made roostery because he has a large group of fanboys, and ever since his speed karts were made default he has had a different attitude on the forum.

So it seems logical that you would have him on your list.

I re-joined the community less than 4 months ago, so filipe is still new to me.

I think the reason why people have the impression that he's coming off roostery is because of his following, yes.  He's good at what he does.

Also, is there a particular example of Filipe acting this way? I've never seen it.

Many of those who create Addons for Blockland create low quality Modifications.  However, there are some talented people on these forums who are not pushy and obnoxious.  Let's take Truce for example.  He has made some very high quality mods, and doesn't boast about his talent or programming skills.  On the contrary, he is actually quite helpful at times when it comes to programming problems.

This just goes to show that not all of the community brags about their skills.

Lol @ all the coders jerking off in this thread. Coding ability isn't a switch you flip on once you learn Torque or Java. Real programming skill takes decades to develop and utilize. I've been programming for 8 years, know over twenty different programming languages fluently, have contributed to the development of a programming language, and lead teams of programmers through high-speed competitions, and worked on developing an operating system. I'm not even a good programmer. There are so many people that are so inconceivably better than me at programming that I get put in my place every time I think I'm any good. So, instead of flaunting my abilities and acting better than other people, I help everyone with any coding problem that contacts me. I spend more than half my time on this forum browsing the Coding Help section, and I'd spend a whole lot more of it if there were more threads there.
