NEU revives it's old European Space Agency. They will be head of operations for anything that has to do with space.

With new knowledge of this 'Gravitanium' substance, they start to search for possible ways to get it. Possibly from near-asteroid mining. But for now, let's make a space station! So we could have people up there already when we need them.

Also with a twist: Urine and Feces will be placed around the hull to act as a radiation shield! Bags of urine or feces is what we have in mind as protection for this future space station against dangerous radiation or meteorites. Space pioneers will need to recycle their urine, wastewater and feces. Lightweight filtration bags embedded in the walls of inflatable space habitats could save on launch weight costs compared to the usual life support hardware, and create a more self-sustaining existence for humans in space.

You need metals obviously
You need scientist obviously
You need fuel obviously
You need allies to send you supples to help you obviously
You need money obviously
You need launchpads obviously

Not only do you need a stable economy, but sometimes you need to have citizen moral up so they support you spending a stuff load of money from the treasury's vault/tax payer's money so they don't riot in the streets.

But of course, you just have to wait a while. The SFR is in a bit of an economic recovery right now, so we could sell you a bit of our bio-fuel for a low price.

Also, Swat, what is the font and size your use for your states/whatever. Since I guess you can't update the map, I can do it for you.
