An unspoken rule is that neutral disasters of any kind cannot be voided unless by the OP.  Since America would have had tons of communications satellites in orbit, the location would make sense.  Pretty sure that a forestry service would have a satellite or two for observation.

Satellite is out of my control.  Not my place to shoot down what's in your airspace.

And I thought we were clear that you wouldn't do this "immediate fix" thing.


I'd like to add to this:  In the history of Earth RPs, whenever a disaster happened, no one could void it except the OP, or anyone who was appointed by the OP to carry out voiding actions.  This means that not even the person who posted the disaster could void it.  Once it happens, it happens.

Or Rockin can say that a satellite is snagging the atmosphere, and also, who made the satellite does not mean that is where it hits.


SWAT, I did not "do an immediate fix". It is something that I did not agree to. It is like me saying one of your your moonbases loses oxygen because of a random gaping hole. You don't say that a satellite snags the atmosphere and then have one of my forests burn down, and take control of my people.

There is a difference between asking me if I want to partake in this and forcing it upon me. So, like I said, this doesn't happen to anything associated to me.
