so my computer forgeted me over today

so this morning i decide to boot up my computer so i can get on terraria for a bit (im in the zone of terraria right now so shut up) and stuff like that, i get on the PC and login,
It says "Preparing your desktop" I installed a update last night, so i assume it has something to do with that, so i get on the computer
and jesus forget
the icons are messed up, all my stuff is unsorted
aero is broken
literally broken, was set on classic, tried to go to aero, gave me that stuff windows 7 basic taskbar with no background or anything
the windows looked weird like their text was at the very top left corner
so im like in my head saying "forgetforgetforgetforget"
i try like everything until system restore comes to mind
so i do that and i restore to the day of october 4th this year, and it works
lucky me, i fixed stuff up.

Also, i have a problem with steam, whenever i try to start it it says cannot load module bin/vgui2_s.dll

Delete the Vgui2. Worst case is that you have to redownload steam.
