it's not like i'm the only one who does it anyways, i'd give some examples of other people who do this but i don't have any readily available
i'm just used to drawing like this so it's more comfortable
plus it's easier to fix up the lines and stuff idk

i actually took the wing from another drawing i had made that i didn't like as much, since i had forgotten to draw the wing on the sketch (i originally drew this on paper then traced over it digitally) due to not having the reference
that probably counts as cheating but i'm probably not posting the other drawing ever so eh
