people laugh and constantly ridicule youtube comments but when google changes them you suddenly are up in arms?

The reason this "switch" will never work is because of the untalaned lets players that live off of youtube. There are just too many of them and we all know they have the worst sheep fanboys, so unless these guys get a real job then i doubt a switch will happen

They ridicule the attention whoring and unintellegent nature of most of the comments.
The prioritization of comments based on upvotes will only encourage people to post even more generic and unintellegent comments in the hopes of getting to the top.

This makes the problem worse.

forget the new Youtube I hate it so much.

If we turn it into a place that everyone goes to, it could be enjoyable.

I can't even look at what people are replying to without it opening another page.

I don't see any "in reply to" comments. They're all placed underneath the comment they're replying to.
