There wasn't this before?

You had to be JUST smart enough to figure out how to fix the URLs. The spam was limited in space and down to spambots which we all came to know and hate. Now we have giant ASCII pictures, limited by those expand buttons, yes, but then those are even traps.

Oh wow, I spent like... wow, an hour and 10 minutes trying to figure that out because all you gave was the screenshot. It's 10x simpler than I thought it was:
well excuse me for not replying after 2 hours of the post

Just saying, you gave a screenshot, and it didn't come to mind the screamers would be local to YouTube, so I didn't consider the most obvious. xD Sorry.

There are a bunch of petitions on change.org to remove Google+, the largest has more than 75000 supporters in the past two days.

75000 people who don't like change
oh no

I don't post comments anymore, you shouldn't either.
is it possible to get over a million people to boycott comments?

That's the problem with petition websites. Something happens, 50 petitions for the same thing come up, and if you want to take it the same way as legal matters, you can't just go merging votes. Wordings could be different, lending to slightly different ideas, and everyone would have to agree again. Then you could have dumb reasons like hating the original person to submit or something. And simply removing petitions and redirecting to revote is also a conflict, especially since people aren't as likely to return to place their voice.

guys did the bots figure out how to post links

Why should we have to boycott comments because we're forced to put our own name on it? Look - I'm not a fan of the new update either, but we shouldn't stop posting comments because some little turds think that the update is bad. forget you, I'm going to keep using YouTube because it's Youtube. I go there not to treat it like a forum, but instead a platform for video creation and viewing.

I accidentally clicked on a screamer a few days ago, luckily however my McAfee stepped in and stopped it from loading and warning me.

I felt like I almost stepped on a landmine.
