The doom games on dos/windows 3x/windows 9x never had a story
i dont know how doom 64 3 or 4 apply to the story so im going to ignore them
the UAC is this giant multi-forgetillionare corporation that makes military and space stuff and when making teleporter technology on mars' moons one of them dissapears and the other goes radio silent so they go to investigate and then theres demons because they accidentally opened a portal to hell
so doomguy being the last marine left kills the stuff out of the demons
in doom 2 portals to hell end up on earth somehow (i forgot) and then doomguy goes to his hometown where the hotspot for demons is and then kills satan
thats the story but really watered down
