Ok I'm kind of very late responding to this but the premise of your game doesn't make much sense. I think the missile idea is a great one, but why do red blocks heat you up arbitrarily and grey blocks cool you down arbitrarily? I think it should tie in with the fact that it's a freakin missile

For example, you could abstract the game further and have the grey blocks be like waterbarrels that pop on impact, and the red squares be something decidedly more evil/hot (aka a brighter red)
Alternatively, you could make it sort of like a real icbm, and have to dodge around spaceships, other missiles, lasers, etc, while trying to hit balloons filled with water (hot air balloons with water as ballast?). I like this option much more than my first suggestion, but as it is your game doesn't make much sense aside from the "this is a missle" aspect so any change would be good

the theme is less 'missile' and more 'postapocalyptic parody'

i'm also planning on adding randomly generated bonuses to white buildings that cause you to get vastly more time then normal that are actually things that you would expect to cool you off

refridgerators, giant fans, water barrels, etc

i still get over 100FPS with AA on 8x

i get like 2000FPS when it's just the wireframe cube lol

I downloaded it. Now I'm having to install on VirtualBox 'cause Wine's being a meanie pants and won't let me run it properly... :/
