oh is that fun movement where it calculates the distance between your mouse and the thing and then moves a specific percent of the distance
yep
I'm guessing it's shoot spacer but yeah that font is pretty iffy, I suggest you tune it up a bit
yep x2, the font is supposed to be like graffiti, and yes I did clean it up some so it can actually be readable

the "r" was a pain in the butt
also, I'm working on an options menu where you can choose between mouse controls and keyboard controls
mouse controls: move around with the mouse, hold LMB to fire
keyboard controls: move around with WASD, hold space to fire

You should also have mouse & keyboard with WASD for movement and LMB for shooting.

in fact, there would be four combinations. you can change the movement and shooting controls seperately.
mouse movement + mouse fire
mouse movement + keyboard fire
keyboard movement + mouse fire
keyboard movement + keyboard fire

bump, I decided that it'll be just the mouse to control the character and to move, as moving with the mouse has a pretty obvious advantage over moving with WASD.

then let people play with a disadvantage

Tried to make hanging platforms, and...I forgeted up a little.

Uhh... what is the point of this options menu? Why not just use both inputs at the same time?

A few days ago at school I was slacking off and drew a pirate. I wanted to draw a ninja, too, (ninjas vs pirates) so I drew a ninja. I was inspired by the Scribblenauts Unlimited ninja, the one with the red scarf, so I made him have a scarf, and I wanted it to have a shuriken, but I failed at drawing that. I'm really early-staged with coding, learning Java atm, and I eventually drew a close-up version of him, and all through today in class I spent my time shading it and asked the people in my class if they liked it. I had to smoothen it a lot, blah blah. This isn't just a story about drawing.
After my first draft of the drawing, I decided to draw a bad guy, the main monsters in this "story". I thought up a shadow creature, like the heartlesses from Kingdom Hearts, with the back thing from Frankie in Sonny 2(a flash game). I later decided, this would be concept art for a game I wanted to make. I don't have a camera so I can't share the drawing, :c. But after I was done, I asked all my friends about it, and 9/10 of them, (not only 10 people, more like 14 or 15) said it was really cool. I wanted to name the character, the ninja guy you'd play as, "Christopher". Mainly because it's my name, but that made me think of a cool concept. The monsters are beings of pure darkness, (not demons just 0 saturation) and Christopher, or Chris, also means "bearer of light", or "bringer of light" or something. And light pierces darkness, and I thought that his katana could be called light, or a synonym for light, or light in Japanese, or something. Any ideas on how to make this guy into a model, and or shade it, or names? Plsthxbai

I might record some others later, but this is what I'm currently working on:

It's a "rework" of an older idea I had. Still looking for a decent graphical style.
I'm pretty good at pixel art. Done some stuff. Earned respect of my big brother's friend who previously despised me with a passion; he also gave me a Starbound beta key. I might be able to add some stuff into it if you'd like. Just tell me what to loop, what you want it to look like, etc.

wait so why not just pixel art your own avatar instead of asking for it to be pixel arted wtf

WHAT DID YOU DO?!

because, I want it in that specific style :p

WHAT DID YOU DO?!
blockland physics

on another subject, I'm getting rid of the options menu entirely and instead adding a 2 player mode, where you control a blue ship with the mouse/LMB and a green ship with WASD/Space. I also found a way to balance both ships via universal speed limit (geddit? because shootspacer takes place in space??????).

Why not post some samples? Because the bolded part is irrelevant to you being good at pixel art
