This is likely been pushed them after Lumberyard (Amazon's game engine which is just CryEngine with source code and multiplayer code done for you) went free, and due to the success and popularity of Unreal 4 and Unity 5 with them being free.

Jesus, you guys have amazing loving art.

I'm hoping to show off my AI system next week with working bots that try and kill each other. Unity's pathfinding system is...decent, and much easier to use than implementing on myself.

level select screen

the game and editor are actually already done and everything, i just have to add gamestates so you can play it

i'll probably just combine the level select and song select screen i think

the background image's not mine for the record, lol. it's temporary (ideally)

sorry for bump but tbh this thread shouldn't die

Hi, all.  I've been hard at work on my game Chatters the Squirrel, and after many months, I'm finally at a point of completion where I'm comfortable making my progress officially public.  This demo features four complete levels.  Please try it out when you get the chance.  Your feedback is much appreciated!

OP text of an April Fools thread I made yesterday.  Quoted in full because even though it was just a ridiculous prank, I actually put a lot of work into it, and I highly recommend checking it out.  For an intentionally-stuffty joke game I built in the span of a day, it's actually pretty solid.

Full playthrough video coming later maybe.
