very good mixing on those guitars. The reverb adds a nice quality to them. also, the vocal samples add such great mood to the piece. very refreshing to hear this when so much metal is neutered pop hiding behind distortion and chugging guitars. your guitar playing is menacing and the percussion is appropriately intimidating.
I've always wanted to try and make music but a big issue I've had is that I've never had the resources to do so
I downloaded the fl studio demo to try out and I really like it but due to it being a demo I can't save projects, and at the same time, I don't want to pay so much for it either. (and no, I'm not pirating it or whatever else).
I mean, I might just give in and buy it anyway (or buy some earlier version???) but does anyone else know any alternatives? or something?? all I want to do is experiment and see what I can do but without the ability to save projects I can't really do much
Do you play an instrument? If you do, just use audacity for now. If you don't, download some free VSTs for FL studio and record your tracks using edison or audacity somehow. play the music through a mic and record that with audacity if you need to. obviously you will have a difficult time making music if you're just using demos with bad digital synths. don't hold yourself back by thinking "oh I need this DAW to make music, oh I need this VST to make music." you're only limiting yourself that way.
also, since you seem to be inexperienced, just pirate the damn thing. figure it out and learn if it's for you. if you like it and use it a lot you can buy it down the road. there's really no reason to drop a couple hundred bucks on it when you're not really sure how intuitive it will be in the end.
