made this part of a rock song or something and i have ascended

the drums are not always on point but i didnt bother to make them flawless, i just wanted to make something quick
the playing can be sloppy at times, especially the bass
but i really really like it

BOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW
for something you did quickly this is fantastic

ok i really wish it was acceptable to doublepost 'cause i don't want to put my own music in the same post that i use to say someone else's music is good. it makes me look like i'm trying to one-up Spede, which i really don't want to do. just so you know.

i make all my songs with a mobile app - it's called Auxy and it's baller.

so they have these contests sometimes called "beat the clock." you are given a bassline and you build a track with that, and it also has to be less than a minute long. here is my entry.

also here's a song that i made that i actually kinda like, unlike all my other songs except Detective. i honestly have no idea why most of my songs start with the letter d.

EDIT: whoops forgot to put this here

Not sure how well this turned out, but I thought I'd make peaceful music.

Electric Skull Island
This is a track I wrote and recorded in the span of about 4 hours-- its a synth-pop tune with dialogue from three King Kong movies.
edit: this is sort of an older mix, where the bass is too quiet and the vocals in the second half are not as clear. These things are both fixed in more recent mixes. : )

This sounds excellent friend, nice job. I love the mixing on the guitar parts--very clean but ofc without sacrificing the distorted tone. I was really impressed when the track picked up speed, the guitar playing from then onward packs a lot much energy without dissipating. Not an easy thing to accomplish at all. I also like the really high, lengthy notes towards the end of the track. Keep at it.

I think the app you're using is holding you back

might add drums later, and the bass is a little too loud, but overall i like how it turned out.

tbh doesnt sound that bad

Electric Skull Island
i found the the middle part with the psychedelic vibe a bit hard to listen to, im not sure what you were going after with it, but other than that this sounds nice and cute

Lol yeah man that reversed ukulele and downtempo synth sure is scary. I cry when that part comes on, feels like a terrible acid trip!!!

Glad you liked it & thanks for the listen.

Did a thing. I was going for the minimal house chords style of Together (same artist!) but I wanted to add variety, so I added an experimental trap-style second drop. Still kinda feel iffy about it, but it sounds alright I guess. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I finally got the right cables to hook up my digital piano to my computer, so I decided to whip up some generic sad music

I was bored this morning so I decided to whip up a parody song.

It uses only Blockland loops for the entire thing, no plugins or any extra stuff, either.

Damn this is really very nice, well done

Generic indeed but well written, I like it

Oh look I made another one! Man this is getting addictive
Again this is well written but the mixing sounds kind of thin. consider multi-tracking your guitars. keep at it though friend.
