I'm sorry, but I'm rereading the thread and not seeing that anywhere. Chubaka is being a little bit too preachy, and people are defending their faith. Yes, it's an argument. No, I don't think it's good. I, however, would not blame it on the atheists.

By definition Atheists don't have beliefs.

Also world views shouldn't apply to the definition. Everyone has their own view of the world, religion or not. Religion is mostly of believing and worshiping a greater power such as a God or multiple gods.

I think this definition applies more to the "god is real" context rather than "god is not real" context. Also emphasis on the "without proof" part. Many Atheists will argue that they have proof that most religions are bogus, such as doing silly experiments like asking questions such as "Why doesn't he cure cancer/aids/diseases?" or "Why doesn't he show himself?"

Everything is a religion? Not possible. I don't worship a god(s) or have a belief on anything like whether god exists or doesn't, it does not cross my mind, therefore I am not religious.
