Basically the reason I'm against the opening of court-cameras in the UK's Court of Appeal.
If it creates a precedent for the lower courts, it means it's more likely for cameras to be in the more common courts.
And when that happens the media grabs a hold of the footage and twists it to however they please.
The people become much too involved in court cases and it becomes impossible for fair trials, especially in jury cases, where you can never seperate the jury from outside influence.
The reason you have the Zimmerman case being so heatedly debated is because the media has the ability to pick it up and shove it at people. Suddenly everyone has an opinion that must be heard.
This guy is unlucky to be caught in another court case. If it weren't for all the media frenzy around the last one, this case would be of 0 interest to anyone.
