Author Topic: next gen consoles are amazing!  (Read 8478 times)

guys get over it, pc will never be the premier gaming platform

if you can't sit on a couch with your boys and play a game it'll never become popular.  consoles are social, pcs are not
it's a shame though. pc's could easily do that. a lot of games support controllers, and you could easily hook up a pc to a tv. but for some reason i haven't seen any pc games have split screen

just to be honest, i've really never had ap roblem with any nintendo consoles :(

but for some reason i haven't seen any pc games have split screen
Serious Sam First and Second Encounter.

I hate it when I always see people say "oghgu pc mastr race go fuk urself if u use a console".
I also hate it when console gamers hate on each other about how the one they're playing on is better than the competing one.

PC Elitists, shut the forget up, there will be gaming consoles for generations to come, not everyone can afford a gaming pc that is up to modern day standards, but still they can afford a quality entertainment system.
Plus, people have different tastes, calling game consoles stuff makes you look even more arrogant and doesn't help any situation at all.

I for one don't like gaming on my PC-I've always been a console gamer and have never even wanted to think about upgrading my computer to game as much as I do on a console, just because I'd rather play on a console than a PC.  There is nothing wrong with it, not at all.

At first game consoles were built for gaming, while PC's were built to help business companies, military personnel, etc.-even though they both have come really far, my point still stands. and yes, I do know that they have made gaming pcs just for that exact purpose of gaming, like I say before, my point still stands and do not dismiss it.

also, before you say anything, I did read the topic, this is just my general reply to the whole thread and any other starfish who feels the need to bash a console and/or console gamer

the worst argument is that "i dont not have money"
you can build a pc that will run all games at reasonable settings for 500

cept ps4 and xbone are not up to modern day standards.

so you still have no point

Yes I do.
I was never talking about how game consoles were up to day standards, you'll just have to read my post again.

And for that to be, they would have to make the cases of the consoles quite bigger to fit more superior parts in them so it won't overheat so it would be much like PC anyways, there would obviously be no point in getting a game console for that matter if they did so not just because of that though but also because it would cost just as much as a quality gaming PC-so like said before it wouldn't make much of a difference to buy one or buy a gaming PC.

$500 won't allow you to run every game even at minimum settings.

There was a point in time where there tried making consoles for the computers. But the technology got better to the point where the computers could run games without consoles. The Atari was released in the Late 70's. Commodore 64 comes in the Early 80's and soon games are made for it.

Better than getting money off your parents or some stuff like that.

Gaming PCs are highly expensive

You can build a computer that runs arma 2 and battlefield 3 for around 500 bucks. That is around the same price as a console.

Funny how console gamers talk about how their system is so great then tell pc gamers to shut up when they start to loose their argument.

I was never bragging about how game consoles are great, I never said they were.
I also only said shut up to the PC Elitists because they always brag about how PC's are the master race and how game consoles and console gamers should forget off. I was never even in an argument with them.

And as said before
$500 won't allow you to run every game even at minimum settings.

Why do you people keep dismissing my point here?

I'm not trying to argue, I'd rather have a calm discussion about game consoles because that seems to be what this topic is about.
