Author Topic: make a buildbot that loads events/prints  (Read 688 times)

A buildbot, but that auto loads prints and events, because it's a hassle looking at what small brick is evented on the event chart or printed and gets on my nerves. thx

You could load prints but it would a bit of a hassle. Whenever the script detects a print brick first place it in front of the player, automatically put the print to the brick, undo twice, then plant the print brick into the build.

Plus it would lose track of where it was, no?

It would require 3 dimensional pathfinding to find a way to reach the brick and then an aimbot to aim at the brick, then it needs to fire the wrench.

It's not possible.

Not it doesn't. Plant a print brick in front of you and give it the print letter P. Undo twice. Put that same brick's ghost in front of you and move it elsewhere and plant it. It still has the print letter P on it.

I mean the wrench events. Woops

here's the thing. buildbots have to keep track of where they are in order to function properly, right? so by placing the ghost brick with a click, they lose their spot. so now it can't continue. maybe if you made it so the buildbot knows where the player is upon start, and can navigate to and from the player, you could do it. that sounds very messy though

It's not impossible, but like you said, it would just be very, very hard, and probably glitchy.
