Author Topic: How do I stop sleeping in school?  (Read 1830 times)

Seriously, I get about 12 hours of sleep every night and I fall asleep at school usually every block, and sleep through 3/4ths of the block. I won't drink caffeine in the morning either. This is really affecting my grades:

This wasn't really happening in the first 2 months of the year.

Try taking a pill. It helped me a lot.

As soon as you feel sleepy, jump out of your chair and rip your shirt off. Scream until your throat hurts and then pretend to have a seizure.

Optional Step: Drink lots of coffee afterwards

probably just because it's boring

dunk your head in ice cold water

i suggest exactly 17 cups

how about sleeping at a decent hour

put something cold to your head

maybe 12 hours of sleep is too much and it's making you tired? I dunno. Personally, if I get too much sleep, I'll feel tired.

How would I get 12 hours of sleep if I went to bed at 1 or something and get up at 6? I go to bed at 8.

You can't get too much sleep but you can't get too little sleep either. You have to find a perfect schedule

In middle school and elementary, I used to go to bed at like 1 AM, and I wasn't tired in class. I don't understand why I'm sleeping. I'm getting way more sleep than I did then.

Because the teachers are boring. Sitting in the same position, hours on end, listening to some boring person say boring things.
