yeah the guy I'm talking about's PR is a 15:21

that's pretty high in the state.

yeah, he went flawless and won everything, including the state open. But got 4th place in the New Englands :/

But still seriously holy forget you need muscles too, maybe its just the fact that every short person I've ever seen has forgeted up proportions cus like maybe his lungs are fatter and he can breathe better with better endurance or something???
maybe he ate a lot of nuts beforehand
that always works too

I got 8:50 but i was kind of suicidal at that point

gj op

I'm not even terribly fit, I just have good endurance. I usually spend about an hour asleep after miles. :V

i can run fast for a little while but after that it's like the ground is undulating and it feels like my heart has been stabbed
i can go strong for like almost a quarter of a mile (1 lap around our track, 4 laps = 1 mile)

Might as well since everyone else is doing it.

Mile PR is 4:43
400M PR is 0:52

ok i feel like i should ask you track stars what a PR is

personal record i.e. your best time

I forget fastest I did a mile was like 7:40 I think. Never got too into running. I think it's really boring.

But stuff does anyone here swim regularly, competitive or otherwise?

oh okay
thanks

we have a little pool here at home
sometimes i'll swim laps around it in the summer but that's about it

I'm in the pool for about 2 hours at a time 3-4 times a week. No one else my age seems to swim for fitness though. There's a handful of college kids who use the university pool besides the swim team and everyone at the other pool I go to is 40+.

our pool isn't indoor though so we have to close it down for the cold weather

Yea mile runs are really boring, just good to get fit, I like sprinting much more

My school is like that too. I can go for about half the map.

every outdoor track is like that
