Not sure if a game that has a stuff ton of players for dayZ and tons of player made mods that have full servers daily is bad. But mediocre attempt to troll a topic just cause the OP is someone you don't like.

its not even the fact that i dont like op, its just why would i pay $30 for a broken game when i could instead play the mod for free? id rather spend it on something like just cause 2 multiplayer, which is free or play something else like wasteland on arma 3. theres absolutely no point in it being $30

Not sure, didn't play for that long. If there aren't, they're probably making them actually function. It's not like they were even relevant in the mod unless you spent forever looking for them.

its a prerelease. there are no vehicles yet.

Quantity doesn't equal quality. That was a horrible argument.

DayZ standalone looks like a joke. I was expecting something much better til I watched some videos. You'd probably be much better of getting Arma 3 and downloading Breaking point or trying Nether. Standalone was just a big hype train, IMO, that stopped at disappoint station.

Of course this is all opinion and speculation. I haven't actually tried it myself yet but I really don't want to after what I've seen.

If this is what the DayZ community is like I'm glad i'll never pick up standalone. Probably filled with handicaps.

The DayZ community ruined Arma 2. All the once great milsim servers are now buried under DayZ. Also I hate the fact that a lot of those people in the community steal addons without giving credit or use the addons to make their own game with the intent of charging people to use it. Such practices have driven addon makers away such as Vilas.
