I dunno what your taste in games is but I can say this. If you were a fan of the older games the chances you won't like any of the new ones is pretty high. I played four and I was really disappointed with the change of pace, but outside the series it was still a really good game. five was similar to four. Didn't feel as good but still better than the terrible, terrible game that six was. It's a massively watered down Resident evil game. Barely follows true to any of the previous games and the ability to buy and upgrade weapons was completely removed as well as the open world feel that RE4 had. Basically it was like the previous games but missing everything that made them good.
The only fun thing added in six was the ability to fall on your back and shoot. The mobility was nice but what good is that without good game structure.
A long rant and maybe biased but I just want you to know what you're getting into. If you're new to the series I guess any of the games are worth a try.
