gonna restore it and drive it to school every day. and race for pink slips.

Last one is blurry.

It's a '77 El Camino with a 350 v8 4-barrel carb. ~175HP, we're thinking about putting a 454 in it though.
It doesn't have any rust, body is straight, has air ride, probably gonna paint it white or silver.

what do you guys think? #blogland

Well congrats on the car, although IMO it's ugly.

With new paint that thing would be beautiful

it'll probably look a lot better once you paint it

You should have that thing repai-

yeah, sorry, I fixed it.

Without the body stripe, this is what it'll probably look like cause I prefer white.

Don't put a 454 in it.  Just build the hell out of the 350.

how much was it?
so what if it looks like stuff, if he got it for a steal then it doesn't much matter.

Oh I got it for a great price, the wheels and tires are almost new.

$1800, think about it, the car has no rust, and they body is perfect, no dents scratches or anything, the interior is also leather and restored already.

Yeah I was thinking about that. Plus, a 454 is a big block engine which is focused more on torque rather than horsepower. Still has a good bit more HP nonetheless.

that's why I'm asking how expensive it is...

that's a decent price. more money than I would spend on such a thing, but understandable
does the a/c and stuff work? what about the speedometer or tachometer or fuel meter? is it auto or manual? did they even have automatic transmissions when this thing was made

It's a great car, been preserved well. Disregard the bad curb view because we'll have it painted eventually.

Everything works.

You gonna pick up hot girls in that and drift?
