You gonna pick up hot girls in that and drift?

haha not a drift car. but i am gonna pick up hot girls and race for pink slips

Yeah I was thinking about that. Plus, a 454 is a big block engine which is focused it can take the more on torque rather than horsepower. Still has a good bit more HP nonetheless.
slap a turbocharger on that thing, get bigger fuel jets and remove the choke along with new heads, pistons, heavier cam, bigger intake, open headers and anything else you need to make sure it can take the turbo and you'll be in pretty good position.  No need for an engine swap.

Edit: actually thinking about it you really could run off and leave a built 350 with a stock 454 but it really comes down to the money.  454s are a lot more uncommon and expensive to upgrade but they are definitely some hosses.

turn the air-filter cap upside down for better induction noise

srsly my dad did it in his truck it works

Very slick.  You won't be racing it intending to hand over a pink slip though, would you?

Bad wording, of course not intending, but still giving them the option.

I want an old car but my parents wont let me get anything older than the 90s because "they we unsafe back then"

:o

I shopped for cars while I was 16, and almost considered buying a 1997 Oldsmobile Aurora from eBay.  I lost interest though because I cannot pay for insurance right now because nobody will hire me.  I'm now looking into Corvettes, mainly the C4 generation.

haha this car weighs 2 tons, all steel. you'd be pretty safe in any wreck of a relatively same size. not like it doesnt have seat belts. probably gonna get racing straps (the overall seatbelts, not a typo) though just for the novelty.

Reminds me of GTA SA. :s

haha you know what that means? it means you're gonna be a mess. your car may be in acceptable condition but I can promise you you'll get plenty of money for medical bills
new cars are designed to protect passengers, unlike something such as a 1977 El Camino

their heaviness also means bad mpg and speed. not to mention the fact that they're ugly and by no means aerodynamic

Dang that troll Ad Bot is practically back (not really).  The real Ad Bot posted in the part of safety fighting on the El Camino about the new Charger being a 5 star safety rating.

their heaviness also means bad mpg and speed.
yes bad mpg but speed?  Yeah that's why they all came with big V8s straight from the factory so that they wouldn't be slow.  Back then a muscle car with a V6 didn't exist like it does today.  All muscle cars had a V8.  And the 454 used in the SS Chevelle is one of the most powerful stock engines they made.  My dad said that people used to run them stock in their race cars out at our dirt track,  but since they became so rare they had to put cubic inch limitations so now everybody just uses built up 350 engines.

When you hear that V8 rumble mpg and the environment become the last things you think about.
