I play this game quite a lot and I love it but I've never played Competitive and don't intend to until I've hit at least about 3/5 days of playtime and I'm comfortable with it more.

My favourite weps are probably the Galil for anything except flanking, and for flanks the Sawed-Off.

The thing about the Galil is the way it's used in competitive play as an "eco" weapon - meaning you only really get it if you're forced to/are short on money. It's cheaper than the AK-47 but it also does a lot less damage. The M4 and AK are considered the "main" weapons because they excel at their jobs and the economy of competitive play is really designed around trying to get them as often as possible.

The accuracy of the Galil compared to the AK has compelled me to use it during buy rounds albeit with mixed results. It's good for long range spraying when you're almost positive that you'll a) die or b) win.

got like three headshots and beat an awper and fake defused for the last kill
he was too good
