I play counter strike once in a blue moon but then I'm instantly scared away by bits of the community that are really toxic and annoying

I find competing and working with your team an enjoyable experience, and the mechanics of the game are rather unique and fun.

If you don't like this game, I'm not quite sure why you're posting here, other than to post hate.

if i had to put it to words it's the fast-paced tactical and strategic play and the reliance on skill instead of luck that makes it so popular. there's always room to improve at the game which is what keep people coming back, as apposed to a leveling system that dangles the next unlock in front of your face to keep you coming back.

they take time, but they are by no means slow

idk why people always complain about that kind of thing
it keeps eco rounds interesting when the other team has a chance at winning. you'll notice that you never find yourself buying a p250 over a rifle because the rifle is better 9/10 times. CSS and 1.6 eco rounds were literal aids because you couldn't win them without sacrificing a goat for luck
