Is it just me or is there a greater influx of people giving up after losing the first round?

it happens occasionally, but this is what irritates me.

thats the tiger tooth i unboxed, valued at 370 - 400 dollars
just unboxed the evil daimyo, each ump-45 labyrinth and mp9 pandoras box run about 10 dollars.

overall i think my inventory value is probably around 505$

unboxed my first three cases today and..
-snip-

edit: minimal wear, not the best but good considering all of a $6 investment today
too bad it's hyper beast

sorry but could you please shove that M4 up your ass and around the corner thanks

for real how can one person spend >$250 on keys and drop one pink weapon and some people just lovingfjdxhdvjbfnfj
I am convinced that there is an increase in rare drops if you haven't ever spent money or spent money in a long time on cases to try to get you to THINK the luck will keep rolling, therefore netting Valve more money due to "betting" problems.
After not buying keys for like 5 months, I decided to buy a couple keys and boom, Stattrak Deagle Conspiracy, the rarest case opening I've ever gotten.

i feel like that might be true, it really seems a lot of players get "lucky" with their first few cases

ive opened a good handful of cases before i randomly decided to open a chroma 2 on my alt the other day and it dropped that bayonet tiger tooth on me

supposedly alts are good ways to get lucky

is it worth it opening a case

is it worth it opening a case
yes but it's not worth spending too much money on, only if you have extra

i'm trying to save my $5.23 for an investment of sorts but i could also make profit opening a case

but i could also make profit opening a case

no

never open cases with this in mind, you'll be severly dissapointed

its not worth opening a case, just buy skins you want. if you cant decide what skin you want from a collection then i guess you can go ahead and open a case
