what is this ranking system how do some people win like 500 games and stay in the master guardian area but my brother wins 3 times and ranks up

Gold Nova 2 sucks
every one of my teammates don't cooperate or call out, at least from the games i've played. I'm on a 4 lose streak
also I tied a game and dc'd once it ended, but I still got a cooldown

Really, from what I've seen even outside of this thread, the people who obsess over betting and the like do tend to be pretty bad players.
