I just bought csgo. I used to play tf2 for a long time but I'm moving over to this.

tap/burst and longer ranges, spray for really close ranges. footsteps are loud so be careful while running. if you aren't using headphones, get some. they'll change your game completely. as a general rule your crosshair should be at about head level, so that if a guy runs in front you you're already prepared to shoot his dumb face.

i'm actually really liking the new update. maybe it's because my elo got reset and i'm playing with mg1s (so far) but i'm getting a LOT more 1 taps with AK and just generally playing a lot better. maybe it's just me tho

played like 4 games earlier on my alt and won all of them so haven't deranked yet but i've heard the horror stories :D

Go to the workshop and download the map called aimbot and join it with no bots (itll set it up for you)

then shoot the fix bots button and boom. try only getting headshots with the ak or something. practice going from one head to another. it's good for getting your general aim down.

start spamming competitive matches
after you get a feel for that game look up more advanced mechanics
have confidence in yourself but never become self centered
