*DayZ is not an option because mac.

Deciding Factors: Are there remnants of cities left around?; Does it feel like DayZ?; Realism?; Graphics?

They are like completely different games. But if you must compare them..
Rust is cheaper and has a DayZ theme about it. Rust also feels really broken and kind of hard to enjoy at the moment. Also the menus can be laggy and joining servers is pretty ganky at the moment. It's fun, but it needs fixed up something serious. The resource gathering is enjoyable but the long runs to places can get boring. Also really cool to build guns and use them to hunt other players for their resources.

7 Days to die is more like minecraft, graphics are kinda bad and game is still a little buggy as well. Slow development and more expensive. Can be very fun with friends but tends to lack purpose quickly if you're not trying to kill other people or something. Completely about building to survive which is fun.

Both are gonna be good games but as for the deciding factors.

Remnants: 7days
DayZ feel: Rust
Realism: Rust
Graphics: Rust

A game with slow development and high price doesn't sound that great. I'm leaning towards Rust.

7 days to die looks cool but i dunno whats popular right now x.x
i dont feel like joining a dieing game

Rust is messed up atm because its early acces but there's tons of servers with 100+ players on them

That's what I was looking forward to.

Is it still fun to play with a team (kind of like Markiplier did, where he worked with a friend on a shelter?)

Yeah it is, but you have to watch out for other players trying to blast your face and take your 2 stones
Also trying to find eachother is a pain in the ass, I never found Colten in all my 2 hours of playing :(

Yeah this is a concern.

Ive watched videos of both and while Rust definitely looks better in most aspects, 7 Days To Die's map is like ten times more interesting.

I've heard Rust is more of a gay orgy simulator then anything

thats because there's richards. but thats before you get clothes

Rust is fun but its incredibly unbalanced. If you have a gun you can kill everyone who is just starting easily.

watching vids, rust dosnt even look that fun.

im gonna grab 7 days

me too. we could play asp

Both games are alpha and cost more then a ton of games on sale right now, Why bother?
