"I read the MP's report and everyone was cleared for flight by the time the mission came around except for you. You are irresponsible and I don't know why you're an officer, let alone a pilot, let alone in the 86th. You are attempting to use your fellow pilots as a scapegoat; you are essentially saying 'Oh hey look they did it too!' You should be ashamed, pilot. I will make sure the pilots you attempted to rat out know of your disloyalty and I am filing for a court martial. Get the forget out of my office, and I am not loving male, so do not call me sir. Dismissed, go, leave, out."

Some medical technicians come from a medical C-130 and receive some papers from Ybarra's office. Haythem is sedated and is transported back to a Cartelian medical hospital and is medically discharged from the Cartelian Armed Forces.

"I don't know if he told you the whole story. He was all the family I had."

I sit down on a bench right outside the terminal doors, guarded from rainfall, and slick my wet hair back out of my face. I sigh and just look out into the rain.

I cannot hold my tears back any longer and I head for the barracks. I write a note and place it on Steele's bed. "Best of luck in the war. 86th forever."

I call a taxi/whatever and then I head for Haythem's bedside, bickering with a MP officer for 10 minutes until he lets me into his room.

"This may be the last time I will ever be allowed to see you, or fly for my country. I lied to you, I didn't uphold my promise I made when I agreed to enter the academy with you..." I then move a chair and lean my head on his hand. "I wish you were awake."

Yay Watcher technically exterminated me!

Wait why the forget did you sedate him.

Doctors said his brain activity was getting better. You basically killed him. Don't control my characters!1

"Our parents died a few months after Xavier turned 18. We got inheritance, but lost a lot of it to the regime, Xavier took me and we sold our house, and moved to a place where I could go to school and he could go to college. He supported us, and a house for years. When he left college, he joined the military, and sent the paychecks back to me to our my through college. I followed in his footsteps. He was my hero, and role model. I've always wanted to be like him,"

a light anesthetic, not 900000000000000000 gallons of morphine

"Ah. Now, I suppose the best way to be like him is to honor his memory and not let it get in your way. He wouldn't want to see you this distraught, right? Be strong for him."

Wouldn't he already be sedated??

Besides, I actually do want to bring Haythem back some time. Discharging him without asking was kind of a let down, lol. I would ask that you review that and temporarily dismiss him or something.

I don't know :P

he's missing a chunk of his loving skull he's not coming back

After sitting for about 15 minutes I decide to get some sleep. So, as my needs require, I walk inside and clean up before crawling into my bed and turning the lamp off.
