"What was life like for you, before Estovakia split?"

"I lived in an apartment. I made minimum wage, enough to pay the bills and feed myself. In my free time I would play flight simulators." "The rest of my family died when the rebellion formed, they were executed on the spot." "After I heard the news, I moved West and decided to join the military as a fighter pilot."

edit: bills not pills

"I don't think so."
"Coffee is done." I get 2 mugs and pour coffee into both of them. I walk over to the table and hand Steele the bigger cup.

"Arigato."
I take a sip of the coffee.

As I wait for my coffee to cool down, I ask the same question.
"What was life like for you, before Estovakia split?"

"Not easy. It was rather like yours, until Ulysses hit. I lost my parents when part of it struck our house while I was at school. Until a couple years afterwards, Estovakia and Emmeria remained at peace. I was drafted into the Air Force, ended up as a part of Strigon Team. Flew away from the rest of the group at Chandelier, landed in Emmeria, after Garuda Team forgeted stuff up the ass. Especially the installation itself."

"Huh." I take a sip of my coffee.

"It sucked. And now I'm here, miraculously healing. It's a hell of a story, because my parents died when i was young."

"Who took care of you when you were young?"

"I kinda tried to make my own way on what remained of the streets. It's a miracle I survived."

"I kinda tried to make my own way on what remained of the streets. It's a miracle I survived."
"Yeah."

It took some time, but I finally resolved to get up from my seat and do something, anything to fend off my anxiety. After wandering around for a bit, I come across a brightly lit portion of the terminal, presumably a food court. There were a handful of officers in the area.

Someone was kind enough to give me a bit of money, and I quietly purchased a cup of tea from a vending machine. Off to the side I notice Jacov and Mark loitering near another machine with the viewing pane broken, apparently in the middle of a conversation. I walk on over, eager to have some company.

"Hey, how're you guys doing? ... Uh, sorry if I'm interrupting or anything, I just wanted to drop by and say hello"

"Hey. You want a cup of coffee?"
I look down to his chest and see he's holding some tea.
"Oh, nevermind." "Anyways, I couldn't get some sleep and Jacov was hungry as hell. I got a few extra chips in my Doritos bag if you want to eat them."
I take a sip of my coffee.

I'm here too guys ;-;

I finish my food and listen to the conversation.
