Well first of all it doesn't really make sense that a civilian airport in a neutral country would come under attack.

The soldiers continued to fire at the LAV which had them pinned down good. The man on the lower half of the corner was hit in the shoulder, he screamed in agony and was thrown back by the force of the large round. He stumbled backward, losing his balance quickly as he was in a crouching position. He fell on his back, clutching his wound tightly which began to bleed profusely. Anatoliy quickly rushed forward, grabbing the man by his carrying handle on his vest and beginning to drag him. A .50 round smacked the wall of the other building to his right, stunning him momentarily as the round had passed closely to his head. He fell backward, but quickly regained his composure and dragged the man back some more. "Medic!" he shouted.
Gently, Anatoliy grabbed hold of the wounded man's rifle and worked the sling off of his shoulder, doing his best not to cause any harm. He pressed the stock against his shoulder, brushing away the sling that was thrown over the stock in the process it took to pick the rifle up. He peered down the weapon's sight, an aimpoint RDS, and checked the safety. He then turned around to the backside of the group, looking out onto the runway. He began walking quickly to the open end of the hangar and getting a better look. The runway was a warzone, bombs were constantly dropped nearby and light armor crowded the surrounding area. Anatoliy shook his head, "stuff, man. stuff." he said to himself quietly. He turned around to face the group, which was still being fired at by the machine gun. He ran forward, looking down at the wounded man, "Medic!" he shouted again, taking a knee and patting the man's notsowounded shoulder, "Hang in there man." he said, looking around again.
The sound of a jet began to echo through the small alleyway, growing louder and louder. Anatoliy looked up into the gray sky. A jet zipped through the air above, the sound rattling his brain. Before Anatoliy could do anything, he saw a projectile punch straight through the wall of the hangar. The wall next to him exploded, sending a large sheet of metal flying into him which pinned him to the wall next to him, at the same time protecting him from the large ball of flame that engulfed the small group of soldiers. Anatoliy was left unconscious.
