that last 1 would cause people to pick up and not put down alot :cookieMonster: but its a good idea if you pick up and it auto throws

they should  should put some of the more used addons like mini gun stuntplane pill grenade.....so it could reduce load time...they should come with the game

My requests:

1) (Towards a currently planned 'feature':) Make mandatory add-ons into zips into optional add-ons into zips. I don't see who really would want to have this mandatory.

2) Add in an ability to include a 'default minigame' without a need for a host to be connected. This will help greatly in dedicated servers.

be nice but i can see a newb abusing it.... maybe a minigame option?

If all add-ons are to be in Zip files does this mean I'll have to keep repackaging it for it to work? Or does exec() still work?

Also, what happens if two add-ons use each other's files, such as the various Wands or Guns which exist? Can Add-Ons reference files outside the Zip file?

You can still exec files within a zip from torque, and it will be able to reference files outside of its own zip, but models wont be able to use textures outside its folder, so you need to include all the required textures.

There should be a buddy system...so you can keep track of friends...also you should be able to jump to the server at will...the one there on I meen.....

This system works brilliantly on the Unreal tournament 3 demo(I don't think it's out yet) and it's so freaking useful.

i just want the brick limits taken away like to bricks inside other bricks, no floating bricks and no building on uneven terrain i hate there limits i want them gone if posible. and ill tell you why, because no building on eneven terrain makes it almost imposible to build on user created maps, no building inside other bricks is just stupid cause it is so dang difficult to build things like skyscrapers with that limit and things that have been rotated, and no floating bricks is just retarted i cant stand it do you have any idea how un realistic that makes the game when im building a skyscraper hello this means when i make a mistake building a wall or inside and need to destroy somthing but i cant becay=use its under another brick even though that brick its supporting is still beeing held up by 7 other walls.

Oh and i need the editor wand but more like the one from tbm and ill tell you why i need that and im shure other people do to. 1. it allows you to rotate things on any axis so i would be able to make the shower heads look more real in my buildings restrooms and also i can make things any size i want so i can make a sink with pipes that make it look like a real sink and i can make better looking beds.

Last but not least we need some doors and switches and i like the JVS doors and teleporters but i need some that can also be opened remotly and more the doors down or to the side like the doors to an aircraft harger and i need them to be admin or team only or anyone kind of switches so i can make a fortress in a battle and have doors that open only for my team.

Retail isn't RTB, and I can't imagine it becoming RTB anytime soon. The reason there are no logic defying floating 4D bricks is because the original idea was to make Retail a bit more realistic.

The original idea for floating bricks, build through and the Editor Wand was to fix glitches with the brickstack - entire builds collapsing even though they should have been supported, bricks counted as "Inside" when, in fact, they weren't, etc. Now that these glitches are gone there is no real need for them. If you urgently need a 34x4x2/3 brick, use one of the brick generators or three other bricks instead.

Wrench Events in v9 should help the "Doors and Switches" thing.

Build in bricks just wouldn't work, ever. Maybe you can find hacks to do the other stuff, but the engine is simply built not to handle bricks inside other bricks. I'd hate to see what happened when you tried to render them.
