It's really not too much of a stretch to just design a map in a way that trying to abuse gravity would just end up sending you plummeting sideways to your doom.
But that's what zones are for.

This would allow for loops and stuff in Speedkart maps. I like this idea.

What about players with high ping? I have about 200-300 ping average to each server and gravity vehicles are jittery

Can you post or pm a link containing the karts? Or just add them to your megathread?

Instead of being pulled downwards, the gravity karts should be pulled towards the nearest bricks or the ground.

I already have 3 tracks made for this variant in mind.
Zone bricks and events are used to ensure players play the course right.
2 of those tracks come from the F-Zero series. Look up Big blue.

Too bad we STILL don't have Mario Kart-esque items, even though it's probably the second most-suggested add-on (behind the Sonic Screwdriver, which also hasn't been done before).

Release it as a normal SpeedKart (Neon Kart?) and Marble's server mod will do the rest .

Just a suggestion, but for a car that exits and enters walls/slopes often the tires should be banked a bit.
