What's a good two player game?

We're looking for some good two player puzzle games. We enjoy most genres, really, but we do prefer something that actually makes you think. We've played portal and also play Starcraft 2 frequently. I'm just searching for a game, perhaps a puzzle game like portal, that's two player. Do you have any ideas? My google searches came up with stuff from sites with crappy browser games. Cheers.

Battle for wesnoth. It's not exactly a puzzle game, but it does make you think. It's a TBS where pretty much everything affects your units: time of the day, environment, other nearby unita, etc.
