I never heard of this game before, but now it's popping up everywhere. Being a huge Alien fan, I'm still a bit angry at Aliens: Colonial Marines, but I have hopes for this one. For starters, it's based off of Alien, not Aliens - so you have no weapons and there's only one alien hunting you down. Another thing I must mention, everything looks exactly like it did in the original - and you even have the original green-screened motion tracker.

My friends dissed the game when they saw Sega's name on it, but I still have high hopes for it.

Sega has some pretty big PC gaming licenses to its name, so it's better than having Gearbox there.

I told them that CM went through a long cycle with many developers, so that could be the cause (duke forever), but they said that it would suck because Sega just wants our money.

Apparently you can craft simple weapons and traps with certain equipment... maybe something like the flamethrower in the movie?
I hope it's just not too obvious.

There's supposed to be pretty much minimal weapons (if at all). And the "flamethrower" you might be able to use will probably just be only able to scare the alien away.
