The forget is monster hunter you might ask?
Well um, I don't forgetin know. Um. How do you describe it? It's a game where you hunt really big monsters! And like normal hunting, it involves giant swords, massive bowguns, switch axes. And it was made by the same team that made the pretty decent Dragons Dogma. CAPCOM BABY! also, you get these little forgeters as battle buddies.

(To be honest it's really self explainitory.)

What kind of monsters do you hunt?
All sorts of monsters! You can go from the person sized, raptor looking Jaggi, all the way to the Jhen Mohran, a giant ferry sized desert dweller. Words can't describe all these sorts so look at them in pretty picture form!

UM...YEAH!

Ok, now I'm partially interested in this title. What can I purchase it for?

Wow! Now this game looks really cool! I'm going to buy it right now!
Wait fine victim of capitalism! There are some things you may want to know!

-THIS GAME IS NOT A FREE ROAM
Hunting maps are laid out into areas, this keeps the world from being too distracting while you're hunting monsters.

-This game is not very new player friendly
Now by this, I don't mean "don't go buy it". By all means, buying it is good! However, if you're going to be playing this game by yourself, you'll benefit a lot from a wiki or source of information, kinda like a blind trip into Minecraft. If you have any friends who play it, they're probably into G-Rank quests n stuff and already know what to do, so they can help you!

-3DS version of Tri-G/Ultimate does not have Online play
Unless you have MHTG/MH3U on the Wii U, you cannot play the 3DS versions of the game over the internet. If you do happen to own a Wii U and MHTG/MH3U, you can do a bunch of fancy ass magic stuff to use it online.

-Monster Hunter 4 is for 3DS, but hasn't been released in North America
There are no announcements for it to be released in NA either so I might as well kill myself and bury the body.

THESE GAMES ARE GREAT TALK ABOUT THEM

I have MH3U on my Wii U and i found it to be quite stuff.

So its kinda like Shadow of the Colossus?

So its kinda like Shadow of the Colossus?
Not really. Only a select handful of monsters are that side, and the ability to climb onto monsters to hurt them was introduced into MH4.
The only similarity between MH and Shadow of the Colossus is that the game is all boss battles.

DID SOMEBODY SAY MONSTER HUNTER

DID SOMEBODY SAY MONSTER HUNTER
I WAS EXPECTING YOU TO SHOW UP

shouldn't people post their NNIDs or something

Poached eggs.
i haven't done an egg quest since the original Tri lol

inflicting blunt force trauma to the head of a giant monster makes for some of the most enjoyable experiences one can have in gaming

so does slicing off tails and causing lacerations

or just hunting huge ass monsters in general jesus christ

this game is some of the greatest holy forget to have ever graced my scrub ass and everyone who hasn't played this yet should give it a chance

Bought Monster Hunter for the 3DS not too long ago.
One of my favorites right now! :)

Hunting horns are the most magical of fun weapons.
Da best beats da rest.
