Monster Hunter appears to be a game in which you give it at the least a few hours and then decide whether or not you like it
in opinion, i think it started to get really good once i hit around hour 20 or so.
the beginning is very unfriendly i must admit

When people tell me a such and such game "gets good in 20 hours" my eyes start spinning around like the fat kid of the playground started pushing the carousel. A game experience should be fun all the time. Real fun games don't even last that long.

Oh man, you just keep making this easier and easier.
Field horn if you're a weenie, or attack it to gain aggro. Stop being such a little bitch that you don't plan ahead. Area system is the best way to handle combat in the game because it allows easy escapes for everyone involved while keeping the game's actual quality at its best.
these are literally both just "i suck at this game and don't know how to correct mistakes" lol
Again, because you suck at planning. Learn to back off when luring and obviously don't give it the opportunity to hit you in the first place.
No? You hit the sheathe button before impact/you have an issue with your controller. That is not a thing that happens. Learn to pay attention to your character and inventory so you don't waste items.
They are there specifically so you can't just quaff things rapidly and whenever, it enforces a need for strategy. Yeah, it's a goofy way of doing it, but it works very well to add additional tension. It is fun, if you're not a pusillanimous individual who doesn't bitch and moan when a game doesn't hold his hand the entire time. Grow up. There is a lock on system, it was added in a minimal extent so as not to break the feel of the game (Again, they are not going to hold your hand just because you suck at video games).
Bring your own? Don't waste traps? For real, these are getting more and more handicapped, lol.
Get good or get better equipment, which generally entails getting good. This isn't your baby ass "five minute boss fight" game, the game is boss fights.
what the forget are you even talking about lol
No? What? How could that interfere with the game, lol? Just pause, you chode.
If hitting three buttons is really so hard for your sausage fingers, use the Home button.
again, what the forget are you talking about lol
Wait, now I get it, you're just illiterate and didn't read the manual and thus don't know how to customize your panels. Holy stuff, lol.
If you knew the things i listed weren't real flaws, you wouldn't be so pissed off about it and actually had proper arguments other than "you suck, holy stuff lol". Right now you're just repeating it like a handicapped parrot.

Real fun games don't even last that long.
Um.
No.

Usually they do.

I never said the game wasn't fun until then.
Since MH3U was my first title, it seemed a little daunting. I had plenty of fun working my way up and learning the basics, but once I hit 4 star offline play the game really took off for me and i haven't been able to put it down since.

The average gameplay hours for a AAA title is 8-10. Mario & Luigi: Dream Team is probably the longest "scripted" game with gameplay going to mindblowing 30 hours.

You know, if you aren't actually going to read my post, you could at least admit that much.

Anyways, if you like RPG games, Mario & Luigi Dream Team is a legendary game and you should certainly buy it. Unlike all the other Mario RPGs, it goes on for quite long. When I beat it, I had 37 hours on it. When I beat nearly everything (keyword: nearly. because of that GOD DAMN
ZEEKEEPER X
), I had about 50 hours on it. It's a really fun game.

I think i got stuck on a part where you're about to fight a wiggler, but some thief guy keeps telling me to get more loot and experience. What do i do (level up im guessing) and where can i do it most efficently?

this has a degree of truth however it's hard to apply that so generally

it's very unlikely to have a game that manages to maintain enough variety to keep itself interesting that long. it doesn't matter if a game is 200 hours long if it's the same half hour repeated 400 times. although, different games are made for different people. just because you don't find games that require that amount of time interesting doesn't mean they aren't 'real fun games'. that's not to say that length = quality though. spending 80 hours playing skyrim is different than playing 80 hours of maple story because in maple story those hours would most likely consist of constant repetition of the same strategy and process to progress (aka grinding). you could easily argue that skyrim is the same way to a degree, and that's true, but skyrim offers a countering degree of variation and controlled open-endedness that makes this less apparent, and it's fairly effective at doing so.

but, hey. games like that don't appeal to a lot of people. i think there's a clear difference in the type of variation as well, not only the application and execution of it. it all depends on what's important to you in a game.

No

Yes. They're both stuff.

Also why the hell did you bump this.

Animal crossing!
