it just means you acted against the gravity holding the kitten in place.
inertia*

there are two forces being applied here, the one you punch the kitten with, and the one you receive from the kitten

both forces are acting on different objects, so they cannot cancel each other out

force depends on mass, your mass is much higher than the kitten, so the kitten cannot apply enough force to push you back, and instead, you send the kitten flying through the room

or something like that idk

It's been about a year since I've had a science class lol

Okay, so for the question that I need, the car is in reality pushing backwards, but the floor is pushing foward so that is why the car go-

forget I lost my train of thought.

C=car

C>>>>>>
but floor is
F<<<<<

<<<<<FC>>>>>

So the initial reaction was you rolling up the rubber band inside the Kinex car and the equal and opposite reaction is the car going once you release it.

I think

if the force reaction happened in the direction of the hammer, it would cancel out like you said in the op
No

Also your first example is good but your second one isnt

Okay, so for the question that I need, the car is in reality pushing backwards, but the floor is pushing foward so that is why the car go-

Sounds good enough, but I'd say the wheels push backwards

So the initial reaction was you rolling up the rubber band inside the Kinex car and the equal and opposite reaction is the car going once you release it.

I think
These are two completely seperate events

if matter cannot be created or destroyed, then how is the universe constantly expanding?
^How did matter get there in the first place?

but how did the aliens get there? :O
go do your homework

but how did the aliens get there? :O
a wizard? a bowl of fruity pebbles made the wizard, ofcourse

if matter cannot be created or destroyed, then how is the universe constantly expanding?
I don't think you're thinking about it correctly.

The universe itself, in otherwords space is expanding, not the matter.

Newton’s Third Law says that any action on any object has an equal and opposite reaction. In the state of balanced forces, my rubber band powered car would not move. Once the back wheels are released, unbalanced forces are exerted on the back axis, which moves the tires. When the car pushes itself to the left (through the rolling wheels), a force that is equal is pushing on the car to the right. This means, that the car’s wheels are pushing in the opposite direction where it is actually going, and the floor is pushing the car in the direction it goes. This puts the car into motion, and the speed of the car goes from 0 mps to some .2 mps.

this is what i typed

I think he's making us do his homework for him because he is asking us to solve multiple questions...

And this was made after school ended.
