Its a shame no one wants to make RTS or RTT games anymore. All people ever make are stupid dime a dozen MOBAs and then call them and RTS when they aren't.

Also Command and Conquer and Wargame is not in the poll, but league and Dota are! Such hearsay.

StarCraft is one of those game I grew playing the campaign and custom maps in multiplayer. However I don't really care for the ladder multiplayer component all that much. The game is pretty much rock paper scissors, I prefer Wargame since it is the thinking mans game and not the counter this with that combo game.

Makes more interesting gameplay. Because now you are suppose to use the terrain and care about your units vs easily replacing all your losses and just camping out or steam rolling your opponent because you have better units. In this game you can fight with weapons from post Vietnam and still win against a technologically superior enemy. So you can either defend all game and just keep a supply line going, or you can attack and still win without having to rearm or refuel because those units will most likely die.
