Author Topic: Pretty sure I got a cop fired today.  (Read 3503 times)

to be fair i don't think a real drug dealer would say what raven said

Probable cause has to be supported with reason and supporting evidence. The only thing visible in my car was my snowboard across the back seat and my coffee mug.
I'd be suspicious too if I said "hurr don't have to answer your questions lol" instead of answering them like a normal person
if you feel that you can't have a cop looking in your car chances are there's something you don't want him to see
or even if you didn't have anything, it still raises a really big red flag

they dont even have drug checkpoints and the cop couldnt legally search his car
raven is right but hes still dumb lol

Just havin' some fun.
Uh no. That's not a probable cause at all. If it was that would be super unreasonable. There's a thing called privacy.
cop asks "do you have drugs"
is invading privacy

what kind of logic is that
its like i come over to your house and ask "hey man you got any water" and you kick me out because im invading your privacy

Probably could have avoided the whole issue by just saying "no"

Its a little something called communication. Use it wisely.

It was a DUI checkpoint, not drug. They were taking extra precautions if they became suspicious in any way though.
And yeahh I am dumb at times. Controversy can be enjoyable.

Good for you. Lots of cops are starfishs and don't understand how the law they're enforcing works.

this is why your car was searched. think before you leap.

cops still cannot legally search his car at DUI or "drug" checkpoints unless a good reason. He was still right lol

No 'real' evidence of this cop being an starfish and the only word we have is OP's who already is making a point of "loving controversy"

FEED ME MOORE ATEEENTIOOON I LOVE ITT

Exactly, forgot to mention the cop told me that I was violating the laws of the constitution. Like what that makes no sense. The constitution protects citizens. Not law enforcement.

No 'real' evidence of this cop being an starfish
Searching something/someone without consent, a warrant, or probable cause is not something a good cop does.

Cops know the law better than you do. I'm pretty sure it was justified.

Itt: muh freedoms

Pretty sure it wasnt justified.

Did the cop see/smell drugs or alcohol? Did Raven admit to anything? no

Obviously wasn't justified if he ended up in the back of a cop car.
