It's finally happening, what many people think is the best Resident Evil game ever made is finally coming to Steam.
With improved HD graphics and full keyboard support, this looks to be one of my favorite game remakes this year.

I personally loved 4, but to say it's the best of all of them is a bit much. Resident evil 1, 2 and 3 were more atmospheric, and were better with the "survival horror" aspect. Resident evil 4 did have atmosphere, and was pretty good at having a survival horror feel, but ammo was too plentiful, and ashley too annoying. In the original resident evils, I was constantly worried about my ammo usage, because if you ran out, you're pretty much forgeted. In resident evil 4, ammo is a bit more plentiful, and the knife does a lot more damage to the point where you can use it more often than your pistol. Resident evil 4 i believe was the last resident evil to be a survival(ish) horror, then 5 was just a straight up action shooter with zombies. 6 had it's moments, but ammo was still plentiful, and melee combat is way too easy.

resident evil 4 is what the newer ones want to be
but who can blame them when 4 is a really good one
resident evil revelations however is going back to the older games slower gameplay pacing which i would love to see pushed more

I played a demo of it, and I agree it looks interesting. I would even be okay with them remaking either of the first 3 with the behind the back view.

I should probably rephrase that line. It was certainly one of my favorites though, main thing that kills the older games for me is the camera, I have never been a fan of games that have a fixed camera perspective.

I loving love RE4. I will buy this.

re2 > re1 > re0 > re3 > who gives a forget about all the other stuffty ones

re2 > re1 > re0 > re3 > who gives a forget about all the other stuffty ones
You found like one of my friends who bitchs about every other RE game now being as stuffty as the first ones.
Re1 2 0 3 all had stupid bullstuff that ruined the games pace and made it annoying to control and play. Plus the story line was just stuff like the new ones.

re2 > re1 > re0 > re3 > who gives a forget about all the other stuffty ones

For me, It'd be

re3>re1>re2>re4>re0>reCode veronica>revelations>6>5

re1 is best hands down

OH MY COD

TRUST ME

One thing I'd be excited about with this game coming to steam, is the user created content. I'm interested what mods/addons/ect. the people can come up with

leon's jacket the adventure

Maybe there's hope for workshop integration.

re2 > re1 > re0 > re3
This is the exact order I'd put those 4 in.

Oh god. I'm going to go ahead and say it. You really don't know what you're talking about.

Also, did anyone else just love the Outbreak series?

I actually did enjoy Outbreak one, which is the one I have. I just wish it could've been online
