did you guys see that one video of the apc getting hit with like 12 molotovs and instantly exploding?

these rioters are no joke.
no

i have not seen that video

(not because i enjoy watching people die, but because i highly doubt that you can blow up any vehicle without blowing it up with explosives)

Combustion engines have historically responded poorly to fire

wasn't molotov originally created to counter light armor?

The fins in world war 2 would throw them on Russian tanks. As a result the tanks were turned into ovens and the oxygen inside was quickly burned up. The other result is that the burned liquid might drip through the hatch and burn the inside, or the crew is forced to bail out and then get killed by enemy infantry.

yeah they were but that's because the soviet light tanks the finns were up against generally didn't respond well to fire when they have open cooling grills. don't think current tanks today have that weakness, though it's pretty good with blinding the tank and i guess if you have enough of them roasting the crew alive.

also, yes, i know, the BTR isn't a tank.

Something tells me this is not going to end well.

That is, if it does end.

no negotiation is gonna happen until the olympics are over, that's for sure

I don't see or hear any explosions, the molotov flames just woosh into a big fire.

I really don't want to toot my national horn here, but it is really amazing how the 1940's finns were able to disable tanks by jamming logs in between the wheels. It takes some massive balls to charge a tank with a log or a molotov as your weapon.

Never forget the polish lancers who went up the against the Germans with nothing but horses and lances.

... Is that US soldiers?

I am totally for the Ukrainian riots, the UN/US have NO reason to interfere with this revolution against an oppressive government.

National Guard riot training most likely.

didnt they get called in during the '65 LA riots

And it was like a free fire zone
