It's when you turn your game off without saving.

A button on systems like computers and game consoles which allows the player to restart the system with only the press of a button. Used for convenience, so the player doesn't need to turn off the system and turn it back on with the power button. Also, not every PC or console has such a button. Sometimes, the power and reset button are combined into one button.

it is possible that if you reset enough (50 times?) in animal crossing: city folk, resetti will say he "gives up", and deletes your game.

i'm not loving joking, he deletes your entire game. all of your progress, town, and villagers, gone.

don't believe me? look at this.

Contrary to popular belief, Resetti does not delete the player's town permanently in European copies of Animal Crossing: City Folk.
