Author Topic: Daft Punk swept the Grammys.  (Read 7215 times)

...by swept I mean they won an award for all the nominations it was in for.

Those are:

  • Album of the Year
  • Best Dance/Electronica Album
  • Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical
  • Best Pop Duo/Group Performance
  • Record of the Year

Plus they had an amazing "Get Lucky" mashup performance with loving STEVIE WONDER.

Check out that wonderful performance here.

is that---
STEVIE WONDER OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING

You can see the exact moment where Taylor Swift's hope was crushed when they won Album of the Year

Daft Punk's early works with the experiment of House 'n Tribal Techno were fine, but now I think they've turned into total garbage.

Pretty cool, but I really hate it when performers suck live (talking Pharrell, not Daft Punk)
Stevie Wonder was good

Really? I thought R.A.M was at least a deviation from typical pop music, and it's good that they diversified a bit.

if you can even call what daft is now doing "performing"...

might as well call it "pharrell feat that 1 rift daft punk have been pressing play on, for the last 2 decades"

Back in the day, this was their first RELEASED EP:

I think Around The World is fine, but seriously, they've been taking the garbage mainstream atmosphere, and soon they'll become like Skrillex, with whiny kids begging their parents to go to concerts.

dude get the gif version

yeah, admittedly them pretending to press buttons on a terminal has gotten rather old.

maybe if they did some kind of live remix (which they were clearly not doing) i'd be more engaged. the performance just felt rather lackluster.
