California is just a state that is too big to represent. Some areas are conservative, some areas are moderate, a good majority of the coastal cities are Liberal and elect bay area politicians that don't know of the needs of the rest of the people who live in the state. Plus it is a hard place to do business in because of all the business laws which makes you more lawsuit prone than any other state, plus the microstamping law adds insult to injury for those of us who like to down to the shooting range. Also our politicians make laws that don't work, take the smog laws and gun laws for example.
